Governor Mike Huckabee interviews Trevor, Melissa and Robert

We took our first trip in seven months this past September 2020 during which we were interviewed on 9/11 by former Governor Mike Huckabee at the Trinity Broadcasting Network’s Studios in Nashville, Tennessee (see video below). We were very grateful for this tremendous opportunity to share how Angels for Higher was founded to save the lives of unborn babies who have Down syndrome across the United States, North America and eventually around the world.

While in Nashville, we also made successful presentations to the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators and the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee. Based on the positive responses we heard from everyone, we anticipate the incorporation of Angels for Higher’s program into Nissan Stadium and Bridgestone Arena as soon as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

Trevor Films Public Service Announcement

This video shows how Trevor and other individuals with Down syndrome are able to shatter the stereotypes against them and to achieve their dreams in life. In Trevor's case, he's been employed at two of the arguably coolest jobs in Southern California: Team Store Greeter for the Los Angeles Angels, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Rams and USC Trojans. He's also played quarterback for the Saddleback Valley Wolverine flag football team, where he threw 84 touchdown passes while leading his team to a 34-0-1 record over his last four seasons!

“When my daughter was younger she was apprehensive of Trevor because she didn’t understand and did not have much exposure to individuals who were different than her. Now, at 13 years old, if anyone makes fun of someone else for being different she is right there to stand up for them. I attribute that sense of what is right & how everyone should be treated equally to Trevor’s high fives!”
